Watercolor Frog

It is a Beautiful Day here in South Dakota today. I worked on my tan a bit this afternoon. When I came in, I sat out on my South porch and painted a frog in my little watercolor journal.

This building is located on main Street in Lennox, S. D. Lennox is a small rural town in Southeast South Dakota. The population in Lennox is just a little bit over 2,000 people. This is a watercolor & ink painting of Roger's Barber Shop, & Frieberg, Nelson & Ask, L.L.P. Attorneys At Law.

Watercolor & Ink Bridge

For this painting I just sketched the bridge, because it was surrounded by trees & water. I painted the bridge first, some parts of the bridge were so light, it was almost white. Then I painted the water, and filled in the rest of the painting with trees. There were trees all around the bridge. When he painting was dry I added ink to help define the painting.The Sun was very Bright this day. This bridge is in Beaver Creek Nature Area in Brandon, S. D.
