To paint the bricks I took a piece of plastic wrap and crinkled it up into a ball.

Then painted the bricks with the ball of plastic wrap.

Pen & Ink truck with a watercolor wash

I don't paint or draw trucks. This is my very first truck. It is a rusty old truck sitting on an old farm. I don't even ride in trucks very often. My husband owns a small truck, he just uses it to haul stuff, to the dump. So it is kind of weird that I would draw and paint a truck. This is a pen & ink drawing, with a watercolor wash.

When I saw the photo of this truck, I just had to draw it. The photo reference for this truck was taken by Joseph Honings, He titled the photo An old truck on an old farm.
