Pen & Ink Window

I have wanted to paint a window all summer. Just a window. Not just any old window. I wanted a window with character. Everywhere we went this summer I looked, and looked for the perfect window. I could not find one that I really liked and wanted to paint. Then I found a web site called Paint my Photo, and that is where I found the window that I wanted to paint. The reference photo for this Pen, Ink, & watercolor wash, painting was taken by Ruth Archer. She named the photo, Seem Better Days. I fell in LOVE with the photo and just had to paint it!
